Nepalese Monarchy is one of the most celebrated monarchies in the world. After Nepal was declared a republic in May 2008, monarchy was abolished. All previous links to an institution that represented Nepal was deleted. But history can't be changed. Monarchy existed in Nepal for more than 2000 years, with ups and downs, with despots and liberal kings. The Lichhavi and Malla dynasties have played a major role in establishing a unique identity of Nepal. The Shah Dynasty was instrumental in unification and expansion of Nepal, but then had long periods of inactivity and ineptness that ultimately led to it being unpopular.
In these pages, we are going to document the Royal Nepal Court website that was removed after a republican order was setup.
